Exit

ka Function

The exit checkpoint checks customers when leaving the controlled area. Passage is thus only granted if no subsequent payments or consumptions are outstanding. Otherwise, the customers must first pay their outstanding amounts at the cashier's desk or subsequent payment station and may then leave the area. If the customers has a high enough balance on their stored-value cards, the outstanding amounts will be debited directly by the exit checkpoint. The customer may then also leave the area immediately.

Adaptation

The exit checkpoint can control different turnstiles and doors and receive available return signals. It is thus no problem at all to reuse existing turnstiles or door openers upon request.
