A barcode consists of parallel strips with holes, both with different widths. These codes can be read and processed by machine with optical reading devices.

Countless norms are present on the market and distinguish themselves above all through the characters or numbers that are usable and the length (number of characters).

Entry Cards

Paper tickets or barcode tickets can be created at the cashier’s desk or the vending machines and can be used basically as a one-way ticket. An individual template (4/4) can be created for the tickets.

The barcode generated will be imprinted when creating them. Additional information can also be printed directly on the ticket, e.g. applicability, name, rate designation etc.

Coupons

Coupons may be printed on conventional printers. Your own template in accordance with your standards can be used for that.

Items for Sale

Most of the items for sale will already be marked with a unique barcode by the producer. If they are stored in the system, then scanning in this barcode will suffice to enter the item into the sales list. Manual searching and typing is no longer necessary.

Advantages:

  • Faster and simpler sales process
  • Avoidance of errors through incorrect input
  • More clear layout at the cashier’s desk
